[0:07] Hi, As you may know, we live in a more and more toxic world.
And, today detoxing is no longer optional, it is mandatory. And, that is why I’ll be sharing my 7 secrets for detoxing naturally every single day,
easily and cheaply.

[0:36] Hi my name is Biggi Fraley, and I’m The Arthritis Coach, and I want to welcome you to the live show today, but also

So, let’s move right into today’s topic, starting with good digestion and gut health, which those two combined combined really is what equals a healthy life.
But, in order for this to happen your body needs to be able to get rid of toxins efficiently.

[1:40] If we have a healthy gut microbiome,
and good digestion, and the ability to release toxins, we will end up with less inflammation, and less disease as a result.
Does that make sense?
Right, I think it does. So, as Hippocrates said already “All disease begins in the gut.” But, when we have all these toxins,
it weakens our digestive system. So, what happens is

[2:23] as more and more toxins enter our system, inflammation increases.
I weakens our digestion, and we end up with all kinds of symptoms.
So, tell me if any of these actually sound familiar to you.
You’re having difficulty managing your weight, you’re suffering from constipation, diarrhea, gas and bloating, you may have frequent headaches,
your energy level is low and so is your sex drive. Your skin is bad and you may experience acne.
You also have regularly heartburn or acid reflux, and experience general moodiness, anxiety, and even depression.

[3:16] Right? Can you empathize with this? I bet you can!
Some or all of these symptoms is what pretty much everyone experiences these days. I would love to hear in the comments what it is you’re dealing with, and

[3:35] the question is: So, why do we need to detox, right?
Because, detoxing will improve digestion, and help free our bodies of inflammation and toxins.
So, even if we eat clean,
and you may already be eating organic hormone-free foods, and again let me know, if that is you. If you are already prioritizing
choosing organic foods when you go grocery shopping, which is really important. But, even if you do that, you are still breathing in toxicity every day.
The same thing with our home environment, it is really toxic. If you just think about things about,
the paint in our walls, the chemicals in the rugs we have laid out, the pesticides we spray or have sprayed around our yard.
And, even the pest control substances only use to keep the bugs away, and so on and so on.
You realize, we are exposed to lots of toxins. And, were already aware of that? Is that something you think about what may even be around your home,
that is harmful and toxic to your system?

[5:04] And, if you have, you may have gone a step further and already cleaned up your makeup, choosing aluminum-free non-toxic makeup.
Is that you? Are you already, have you switched out your regular makeup and are choosing naturally organic ingredients for your makeup? I hope you are!
But, let’s assume that we removed all these toxins from our personal environment,
we’re are still exposed to toxins simply through breathing which all of us do every single day, all day long. So, I think we can agree,
that we can’t all just live in a bubble, right? As nice as it would be having the perfect healthy environment.

[5:57] We are part of society, we live in big cities. So, I think we can all agree that no matter how much we do
to already clean our environment, it is really important that we
do a daily detox. Don’t you think? Let me know if you agree with that.

[6:21] So, let me first start off by saying what this detox is not. So, it’s not one of those things where you just live on juices or
water only, or chew on little celery sticks all day long, or what not.
It is nothing to be scared about at all, but something to get excited about.
Now, I liken it to taking out your trash in the kitchen, right? By now,

you probably do it subconsciously. Trash fills up, you know to take it out,
replace the liner, and you’re good to go, right? You don’t wait till it overflows, it’s all over your kitchen, contaminating everything. You just take the trash out regularly.
And, so we want to do the same thing when it comes to detoxing our body naturally.
So, let me share my secrets for how you can detox naturally, every single day.

[7:24] Step number one: Upon waking, you want to drink some hot water
with organic lemon juice, and maybe a teaspoon of raw apple cider vinegar,
and add a dash of cinnamon or Cayenne pepper. So that is your little detoxifying drink first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach.
I really love too, how it just clears your air-pathways just, getting you ready for a healthier day.
And speaking of starting your day in a positive way.

[8:04] One of the things you want to do is maybe find a daily affirmation that gets you fired up and just sets the mood for the day.
Some people I like to follow and find my affirmations from are Louise Hay, Wayne Dyer, or Eckhart Tolle.

[8:28] And, even when I turn on my computer in the morning, I really love this chrome plug-in, it is called Momentum and it presents me with a gorgeous image,
typically an image of nature and also contains a beautiful quote which more often than not really resonates with
my ideals, my way of thinking. So, that’s very inspiring.
Also, this year, for example, I am reading this book,
Positive Quotes for Everyday.
It’s by Patricia Lawrence, and I’m really enjoying it, I am totally current, August 14th is today, that I am broadcasting this show.
And, so she always starts out with a nice quote. Today’s quote is: “Example is not the main thing in influencing others.
It is the only thing.”

[9:39] Then, Patricia goes on to describe some stories of her life and how it applies to her, which is interesting and inspiring,
and she always leaves us with a call for action for the day.
So, today is: “Today, I will think before I act, 

[10:02] making sure my example matches my ideals.” Now, how is that for an inspirational quote
or affirmation for the day, something to live by, and focus on today, because, you know, it’s all in the little things. So, here the question was,
are you walking your talk, right? Let’s set that intention for the day!
Number three: You also everyday want to take a moment to just get
still or quiet, even if it is just for a minute, right? You want to hold your heart,
and you want to exclaim: “I release what does not server me!”
You want to say it out loud, you may even scream it: “I release what does not serve me!” Right? Own that power!
And, even something like that will help your weed toxins from your body.
So, again, a very simple and free thing you can implement everyday to detox naturally.
Another way, secret number four, is to have a fresh, green juice, every day.

[11:20] Now, you can find those in a juice bar. Here in San Francisco, you can even have it delivered to your home every morning freshly squeezed, I’m sure. You can go all out fancy.
You can make your own green juice at home, simply by adding one tablespoon of chlorophyll and some lemon and lime to water, and drink that every day.

[11:49] Secret number five: Gget moving and shaking. Yay, I am talking about
exercise, which is still one of the best ways to detox your body. It’s actually important that you move it cuz literally as your body moves, you help your organs and everything
move the toxins out of your body. So, if you are young and healthy, and you can do vigorous exercise, go for.
But, you don’t have to.
If you are in pain or you have been, what am I saying, inactive for a long time, a simple 20-30 minutes walk everyday out in nature,
will absolutely do wonders.
I mean, I swear, a walk will not only help detox your body, but it will literally detox your mind.
You’ll get a reset. It brings you back into the present, and you’ll have a much better day for it.

[12:54] Number six: Drink plenty of water throughout the day.
And, having said that, I’m sorry, but, that is what I need to do right now.

[13:05] Because, I have been talking a lot. So drink plenty of water. You may want to add some lemon, lime, or grapefruit, all pure, not
sugar juices or whatever, just pure, organic lemon, lime, or grapefruit juices to help flush out the toxins even better.

[13:27] Number seven: Probably my favorite, is skin brushing. It helps support the liver
in removing toxins from your body. I use this little brush right here,
every day. It has, you know you can hold it in your hand, but it also has a wooden handle you can insert, so you can also reach,
your entire back-end and other places that are harder to reach. And, what you want to do is simply do rotating nice brushing
of your whole body, right?

It turns on the circulation, it helps remove toxins through that. It practically feels like a self massage.
You’ll be so looking forward to doing that one every day, once you incorporate it into your daily routine, and
always remember, our skin is our largest organ. It’s the number one place we absorb most toxins through, but it’s
also the large surface that we are able to excrete toxins, to release them. So, again skin brushing is my secret number 7.

[14:50] And, I have a little bonus secret for you as well: Be happy and grateful for life.
Which really comes back to taking a moment every day to become present,
and truly think about how wonderful our life actually is,
how lucky we are. And if you are living in the United States today,

[15:20] I mean, really no matter what your life or even your financial situation, you have so much to be grateful for.
So, do you think about this everyday. If you want you can keep a gratitude journal. At the end of the day just
you know, think about the things that you are grateful for that day, the good things that happened.
All right. So, I think that’s what I want to leave off with today, be happy and grateful.
